Find the Right Starting Point

OUR METHODOLOGY

How Every Programme Is Delivered

All three Quietcoin programmes share the same methodological foundation: we begin by listening, not by presenting. The first part of any session is spent understanding what the participant currently holds, what they find difficult to locate, and what outcome they are hoping for.

From that starting point, the session structure is adjusted. The folder system built in the Personal Records Workshop is shaped to the records the participant actually has — not to a generic template that assumes a standard household.

The educator's role is to provide structure and to ask the right questions. The participant does the thinking, the sorting, and the deciding. This matters because a system that someone has built themselves is significantly more likely to be maintained than one that has been assembled for them.

Questions that require specialist knowledge — about pension entitlements, legal interpretation, or official filings — are referred. The educator notes these and the participant is guided toward appropriate resources without delay.

Records Conversation — one-to-one appointment

PROGRAMME 01

Records Conversation

A short, considered appointment in which you sit with the educator and talk through the personal records you currently keep — what you hold, what you would like to organise, and what you would like to leave easy for a family member to find later. The educator listens, takes notes, and gives you a short written summary of suggested next organisational steps at the close of the session.

  • One appointment, typically 90 minutes
  • Calm, confidential, one-to-one format
  • Written summary of suggested steps, yours to keep
  • No advice, no interpretation, no filing

HOW IT WORKS

1

You arrive with whatever records you hold — or simply a note of what you think you have.

2

The educator listens and asks questions to understand your current record situation.

3

Together you identify the organisational steps that would make the most difference.

4

You leave with a written summary of those steps to work from at your own pace.

PROGRAMME 02

Personal Records Workshop

A three-session workshop in which a small group is guided through the building of their own personal records system at home. Sessions cover folder design, labels, archive layout, and the production of a simple printed records index. The educator provides structure and answers general questions; questions personal to one participant's situation are referred to qualified specialists. Includes printed materials and a folder template to take home.

  • Three sessions across two to three weeks
  • Small group format (maximum 6 participants)
  • Printed materials and folder template included
  • Produces a printed personal records index

SESSION STRUCTURE

1

Session one: folder categories, design principles, and what to keep where.

The programme includes weekly home visits, the assembly of a labelled folder system, a written records map handed over at the end of the programme, and a final reading session with a chosen family member. Strictly organisational — it does not include any filing on anyone's behalf, interpretation of entitlements, or work that calls for a qualified specialist.

  • Complete labelled folder system assembled at home
  • Printed records map handed over at programme close
  • Final session with a family member of your choice
  • Travel within Chiang Mai included

ACROSS ALL PROGRAMMES

Standards That Apply to Every Session

Participant Privacy

No document contents are recorded by the practice. Notes from sessions belong to the participant and are handed over at close.

Educational Scope Only

The educator will not advise on entitlements, interpret official documents, or carry out any task that belongs to a qualified professional.

No Rush Policy

Sessions are scheduled with space on either side. No participant is moved on before they are ready. The pace follows the person, not the timetable.

Respectful Referral

When a question falls outside our scope, the educator says so clearly and guides the participant toward appropriate qualified help without judgment.

Written Outcomes

Every programme produces a tangible written document. The participant leaves with something in their hands — not just a conversation had.

Annual Programme Review

All programme materials are reviewed annually. Participant feedback is used to refine the session structure and printed resources each year.

PROGRAMME FEES

Clear, Stated Pricing

All prices are inclusive of materials and, for the archive programme, travel within Chiang Mai. No supplementary charges apply.
