Effective Date: 28 April 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Quietcoin website and your participation in any programme offered by Quietcoin. By visiting this website or registering for a programme, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the website or register for a programme.

1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, confirming an appointment, or attending a programme session, you confirm that:

3. Description of Services

Quietcoin offers educational workshops on personal record organisation and household archive building. The three programmes currently available are:

Programmes are delivered in English. Sessions are available to participants based in or able to travel to the Chiang Mai area of Thailand. Home visit programmes (Household Archive Setup) are currently available within Chiang Mai city only.

4. Educational Scope — Important Limitation

All Quietcoin programmes are educational in nature. Quietcoin educators are not qualified financial advisers, legal practitioners, pension specialists, tax advisers, or licensed filing agents. Nothing communicated in any session, written summary, or programme material constitutes financial advice, legal advice, pension entitlement guidance, or any other form of regulated advice.

Participants acknowledge that any questions requiring specialist knowledge — including but not limited to pension calculations, entitlement interpretation, legal document filing, or tax matters — will be referred to qualified professionals and will not be addressed by Quietcoin educators.

5. Participant Responsibilities

As a participant, you agree to:

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Fees

Programme fees are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and are as follows: Records Conversation ฿6,500; Personal Records Workshop ฿18,500 per person; Household Archive Setup ฿32,200 per household. All fees are inclusive of session materials and, for the Household Archive Setup, travel within Chiang Mai.

6.2 Payment

Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of the first session. We accept bank transfer to the account details provided on confirmation of your booking. We do not hold payment card details.

6.3 Cancellation and Refunds

If you cancel more than 7 days before the first session, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 7 days of the first session, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the programme fee applies. If you cancel after the first session has taken place, no refund is available for completed sessions; any remaining sessions will be refunded at the per-session rate if applicable.

If Quietcoin cancels a session due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund for that session will be provided or an alternative date arranged at your preference.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Quietcoin website, including text, layout, and programme structure, is the property of Quietcoin. Session materials provided to participants are licensed for their personal use only. Participants may not reproduce, publish, sell, or distribute session materials without prior written consent from Quietcoin. The written summary and records map produced for a participant become the participant's property at the close of the relevant session.

8. Confidentiality

Quietcoin educators treat all personal information shared during sessions as confidential. Notes taken during sessions are handed to the participant at the close of the appointment and are not retained by the practice. We will not disclose information about your records or personal circumstances to any third party without your consent, except where required by applicable Thai law.

9. Disclaimers

Programmes are provided on an "as available" basis. While we take care in preparing and delivering every session, we do not represent that participation in a programme will produce any specific outcome in relation to your personal records, your pension situation, or any other matter. The educational content is intended to support your own record organisation activities; it does not substitute for professional advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Thai law, Quietcoin's total liability for any claim arising from or in connection with a programme shall not exceed the fee paid by you for that programme. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your participation in a programme or use of this website.

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including illness, natural events, or infrastructure failure.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Quietcoin, its educators, and its staff from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms and Conditions or your misuse of programme materials.

12. Termination

Either party may cancel a programme booking in accordance with the cancellation terms set out in Section 6.3. Quietcoin reserves the right to end a participant's programme without refund if the participant's conduct is disruptive, threatening, or inconsistent with the educational nature of the sessions.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these terms will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties. If informal resolution is not reached within 30 days, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Chiang Mai province, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Quietcoin in relation to your programme participation and use of the website. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect. Failure by Quietcoin to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision. You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or registration for a programme after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
